4.2 Accounting in Different Sectors of Economy

4.2.1 Bank Accounting

During this course you will study the peculiarities of accounting in the banking system and other financial institutions.

4.2.2 Insurance Companies Accounting

During this course you will study the peculiarities of accounting in the insurance companies.

4.3 Accounting Software

4.3.1 'AS-Accountant'

During the course You will get acquainted with:

  • General Ledger (calculation of synthetic accounts);

  • Partners (debtors and creditors) accounting;

  • Materials accounting;

  • Short-life items' accounting;

  • Asset accounts calculation;

  • Salary calculation.

Among important abilities of 'AS-Accountant - Middle package' are:

  • Multicurrency accounting;

  • Forming of all the initial documents;

  • Obtaining of all the financial report forms;

  • Synthetic and analytic reports;

  • Many other subsidiary reports;

  • Obtained information can be exported into MS Word and MS Excel systems;

  • Ability of working in LANs.

4.3.2 '1C: Enterprise'

  • General Ledger (calculation of synthetic accounts);

  • Materials accounting;

  • Short-life items' accounting;

  • Asset accounts calculation;

  • Salary calculation.

4.4 Work practice

The students will pass 1-month work practice in the best companies of the RA, which will help them to be better prepared for their Final Papers.

4.5 Research Paper

After completion of the whole academic program and passing all the exams you will present a final research paper concerning the problems or issues in the fields of taxation, accounting, auditing and related fields.
